In paris...crepes and all

just got into paris this morning from amiens...went through the busy busy city and got a quaint little room at the 3 ducks hostel.got some bread, cheese and nutella and went to the park to relax; an undercover narcotic team was working a sting and one officer asked if he could sit with us and talk to look less suspiscious.he filled us in on the details of the sting=very unexpected and 007...waking up early tmrw to hit the island (notre dame, st. chapelle...) and train to geneva.ready to ride the shore of lake geneva and soak up some mountain air.gonna try to catch a fish and cross one request off the list

  1. haha that's a fantastic story. did they catch the bad guys!? ;)
have fun at the sainte chapelle, it is one of the most beautiful churches in the world! and don't forget to look for the gargoyles on top of notre dame. they are suuuper creepy at night. be safe, have fun, watch out for all the crazy parisian cab drivers.

  3. A totally cool blog, Benn. Spent a week on Ille St Louis in the early 80's relaxing and exploring Paris. Glad you're going to Budapest as that is a favorite city - really good people! Have fun and stay safe. We'll be lurking.

  4. Did you know that Sainte Chapelle went through it's second rennovation before Columbus discovered the Americas? That'll shock your perspecive on the US's place in the context of history. Enjoy!
